January 9th, 2010 Classes
On Saturday, January 9th we will hold our first class of the year 2010, the first one of the day is "Colorbox Backgrounds" and it begins at 10:00 am. You will need to have a brayer with you to use for the day and also please bring your own adhesive. You will create a 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of designer paper and use a piece of that to make one card. This class can double as a Valentine Card, I created a Birthday card because truthfully I have probably 20 Valentine Cards already. "Brayered Bug"
For our second class of the day, which will begin approx. around 12:00 pm we will create this beautiful card using our beloved Cuttlebug and mica magic ink refills. Again you will need your brayer and your own adhesive. I just love this stamp, as I promised we would use her in class and here she is. This card also could work as a Valentine Card. You will make two cards with this class.
For our third and final class of the day we are going to create a 8 1/2" X 11" piece of background paper with colorbox chalk inks using a resist technique with our brayer. Then from this paper you will create one card. This class hopefully will begin around 1:30 PM.
Please feel free to join us for 1,2,or all three classes. You will need to e-mail me to sign up, class will fill up on a first come first served basis with a limit of 8 per class. Class cost continues to stay at $8.00 per class. You will note I have asked you to bring your own adhesive, this is to help keep class at the current charge. firstname.lastname@example.org If you are planning on staying for all three classes you may bring a sack lunch, we will be taking a short break between 11:30 and 12:00.
Can't wait to see all of you again on Saturday.
